Filled with wanderlust, and following in the footsteps of Ronnie and Kate Lane, Des recently relocated Valve Studio, his analogue musical workshop, to a new home in rural France.

Using his pastoral location in France as a contemplative base, he is busy writing and recording a new collection of songs for the final act of his Kuschty Rye trilogy.

The Troubadour’s Entourage (subtitled The Key To The Tune Of Life Itself- Part 3) will consist of 9 new compositions written in homage to Ronnie Lane’s third Slim Chance LP; ‘One For The Road’.

Des will be accompanied on the recordings by an assortment of multi-talented instrumentalists as they visit the local villages and towns.

Des’ intention is to bring to the listener a flavour of what it’s like to be on tour with a band.
